Spinach with caramalized onion and garlic


Spinach- chopped, frozen, in a 1 lb bag

onion- 1/2 of a white, medium onion, sliced thinly.

Garlic- 4/5 cloves, sliced thinly

Red pepper- 3, whole, dried

Vegetable oil- 3 tablespoon

Salt- 1/2 teaspoon


1. Heat oil in a shallow pan.

2. Add the sliced onion, garlic and cook over medium high heat until caramalized.Image

3. Add frozen spinach, whole red pepper, salt. Stir to mix everything.

4. Cook covered for 20 minutes over medium heat.

5. Serve with rice.
